We are a 6 piece brass group, with a drummer. Consisting of 2 trumpets and 3 trombones, and the aforementioned drummer. Once in a while we incorporate other elements like Alphorn, Garden Hose and Watering Can,  and who knows what the future will bring.

WHERE ARE WE ?

We are based in the San Francisco Bay Area, and have performed throughout Northern California.

JAZZ?…Yes. CLASSICAL?…Yes. BIG BAND?…Yes (all styles). 

BALLROOM?…Definitely. BACH?...Yes. BEATLES?…Of Course. 

ORIGINAL MUSIC?…Lots. WEIRD STUFF?...It Does Happen. BORING?...Hardly Ever.

There is no other brass quintet, that we know of, which has the instrumentation and covers quite the breadth of styles that does Brass Ackwards.
